Hey friends, I’m currently working on a bust study based on the Latin American legend of La Llorona. For some context, she is basically a weeping woman who drowned her kids that now haunts small deserted towns. It’s a common legend from my hometown and I wanted to do my take on it. This is a WIP but I am aiming for a cleaner/stylized look and trying to push more the shapes of her face. I think my biggest challenge is making look her sort of dead/zombie like without making it unpleasant for the eye. If anyone has any feedback on improving the appeal of the piece I would appreciate it. Also if the proportions are working well and all that 😀

Great work so far ! The eyebrows looks a bit higher than they should imho. But I like the style you’re going for.
