I’m a senior creature/hard surface modeler and texture artist with 13 years experience in film, games, and commercials. I am currently a member of the amazing modeling/texture team at Industrial Light & Magic where I have recently completed work on Star Wars – The Last Jedi. Other projects include Valerian, Star Trek Into Darkness, and Harry Potter.
The techniques shown are really good, it does show you how to model and texture faster and the scripts are very useful but there’s really no point in trying to follow the tutorial itself. It jumps all over the place, has no real structure and feels very incomplete. Its best to just watch the videos and try and make your own designed piece.
