Bullet Boy Pro 1.2.0 – Machine Gun Bullet Emitter

This is a machine gun bullet emitter with collision effects, muzzle flare, bullet holes and casings. Reference this into your scene, attach it to your gun asset, adjust your settings and go. You’ll find the controls for the bullet emitter in the CTL object.

There are three separate control objects for the casing emitter, the muzzle flare and the bullet emitter. You may want to move these to match the location of your muzzle and ejector.

Here are some of the key features:

  • Three types of bullets (bullet, laser and ball)
  • Two types of muzzle flare (Flare and cross)
  • Sparks on collision – make sure your collision objects are assigned to the “nuke” solver
  • Start Frame End Frame and Rate controls make setup fast
  • individual control over casing emission
  • Ready to render
  • Fast and easy to use.
  • Same day user support.

I think you’ll find my bullet asset to be the most versatile and easy to use on the market.  If you have any comments or questions please post them in the support forum and I’ll get back to you within 24 hours.

Update 3.0: Replaced one of the gimpy expressions with a node tree – should fix problems on some versions of Maya

Update 1.2: Bullet holes added

An absolute steal. Amazing product and support. We managed to integrate this into our Arnold based render pipeline. The asset has enough flexibility to be scaled to your scene size in terms of units. Pretty “Bulletproof” in terms of trying to get this thing to fail.
Something I will mention, All you need to do is make your collision object a “nCloth Passive Colider”

Awesome product with OUTSTANDING customer support! BFX is amazing!

I purchased this recently, its simply amazing. it has so many attributes yet being extremely user friendly. I had a small clarification regarding the collision, I got immediate support for the same from Brent. It works perfectly, and the best part is, inspite of emiting high rate particles its very light on consumption of system resources.

  • Issue Fixed and Brent is a dependable seller.

I initially bought this tool and it wasn’t working for my Maya 2018.5 but Brent took out the time to respond and fixed the tool with an upgrade and instruction manual. I usually hear back from support a week or more but Brent responded almost immediately even when he was at work.

Thanks Brent! The satisfaction of your customers is truly your top priority and because of that I’ll shop on your store more.
