This tutorial is very well-made. Initially, I was a bit hesitant by looking at the length of the video that if all the concepts will be properly explained in that time or not. But the whole video is gripping and to-the-point. It is an example-based video which makes it perfect to understand the concept. I liked the last example from a video game which used all the concepts taught in the whole video.
This course is not only confined to 3d artists but the principles can be used in real-life photography as well.
Top-buy for someone who wants to learn fundamentals to get into environments in 3d world.

A very straightforward tutorial. I am a total beginner in 3D compositing, so I feel like this course gave me good basics. 🙂
My only sadness was the fact that we only see one study case(in an urban environment). I would have loved to see a second study case in a very open environment/nature like say, Horizon Zero Dawn. I got the course on sale at 9.00 USD, which seemed fair to me for 30 min of theory and one study case. All the points are very valid and useful, I don’t want to diminish the value of the course at all because I liked it, but I would have been disappointed if I had paid 18.00 USD. I believe if it were the theory + 2-3 study cases, I would have been very happy to pay 18.00 USD.
Other than this, I sincerely hope Karen Stanley will make more courses like this one! It’s very well explained, professional and with no deviation at all. I recommend it to any very beginner at compositing in 3D! 🙂
