Stylized Hair Strands for ZBrush and Blender

Creating stylized hair, defining its shape, and making it look natural can be tricky and time-consuming. With minimal effort, position individual strands as desired – make hair loose and flowing, tightly braided, or bouncy and curly to suit your characters’ styles.

Doesn’t matter if you are working in ZBrush or Blender, the HairSalon utility pack will help you with the task.

ZBrush Version

The IMM curve brush for ZBrush contains 90 hair flakes, 64 braids, 89 curls, 24 twisted hair and 9 rastas. All brushes set with a different Curve Falloff and creased edges ready to be subdivided – to achieve more natural clump shapes and suit each hair type.

The Hair Salon Toolkit for Blender contains the same shapes as the ZBrush version except for the rastas that unfortunately can’t be included.

The hair strands are made by multiple bezier curves – one curve defines the profile, another the direction of the strand and in some complex hair types, there is a third one that helps to defi
