  • Great Tutorial!

Learning ZBrush with the tutorials in this package is really fun! Instead of going through menus monotonously, the authors teach what really matters in the actual practical use of the software. There are great, valuable tips in almost all the sessions. I am delighted to have this tutorial. Actually, I consider it a bargain for what it offers. Thanks guys!

  • Tutorial is great, but...

Tutorial covers a lot of stuff, and I love how it’s broken down into manageable pieces that you can look up as needed when you’re working on your own stuff and forget how to do something specific. However, and this applies to everything on FlippedNormals, there is no community options to ask questions, seek help with software bugs (Live Boolean -> Invisible) or operator error (ZSphere Rigging -> EDIT). If there were forums/messaging dedicated to each item, or this same tutorial was on Udemy, this would be 5 stars no problem.

    • And it’s missing button push text. As he uses hotkeys, you can sometimes forget how it gets done (like making polygroups).

  • Excellent to start your journey with ZBrush

For reference, I did own the older version of this tutorial.

The improvement compared to the old version is enormous. Unless ZBrush drastically changes in the meantime, you probably will not need to search for anything else for a few years up ahead. Everything needed to start is already here.

The basics are covered and for some more advanced stuff you get directions [for example, basics of ZModeler and Array] which you can then explore on your own. As always, excellent narration, easy to understand examples and all of that is wrapped around with that Ogre sculpt at the end.

  • Amazing tutorial, I would pay hundreds more for this in an instant

In spite of Zbrush’s horrifying UI, UX and IxD this introduction is invaluable in its ability to convey the tools and workflow coherently and quickly. One of the best and most coherent tutorials out there and worth drastically more than its priced currently

Save your time, save your money and make things easy on yourself and get a copy so you can work on the things that matter i.e. sculpting

  • Without a Shadow of a Doubt the BEST Intro to Zbrush Money can buy!

Aside from Zbrush itself, and my Wacom Tablet, this is probably the best thing ive bought in a LONG time. Incredibly Useful and easy to understand, everything is clearly laid out and easy for beginners, though i started my Journey into Zbrush this time last year (though i lost my Courage for 2 months around Feb, when i doubted my Skills) had i owned this Tutorial Series, i WOULDN’T have quit those 2 months! if you’re trying to learn Zbrush, or WANT to learn, this is the Set of Videos for you.
