  • its good but not worth the price

i bought this tutorial a little while ago and finally had some time to check it out and while this tutorials gives great information and tips but the tutorial has alot of problems mainly from the editing and audio.

Timelaspses are not good it makes it hard to follow i also noticed the model changing several times like a time skip but your not told about so your watching the video and then your like when did she change that what else has she changed what did i miss etc.

timelaspses really shouldn’t be in a tutorial there are some exceptions to this for example panting rust on the model you could put a timelaspe there becuse it doesnt need to be accurate.

time skips should never be in a tutorial period i had bad tutors at university and they did that alot its not teaching and it makes the process confusing.

with these problems the tutorial feels over priced and being honest if i could i would ask for a refund.

    • Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us Adam – we really appreciate it and regret to hear you didn’t have a good time with this course. Previously, we have included timelapses in tutorials for advanced and intermediate users, but it’s becoming clear that realtime is preferred so we will do our best to eliminate all timelapses from our future courses. Thanks again for the valuable feedback!

      • thank you for replying always nice to see. i can see where your coming from and i can still follow this tutorial as being an advanced users myself (i hope my degree reflects that) but even if you are advanced or above i think everyone agrees (from reading other reviews from you past tutorials) its still nice to have it in real time.

its nice that your taking action and deciding to get rid of that practise that said this tutorial is still do able but its the price tag, the price it has during the summer sale is a more appropriate price for this tutorial.

if you look at chamfer zone pricing (his tutorials are in real time) they are way cheaper than this, his most expensive is $60 and thats a 2 for 1 tutorial.

it would be nice to see tutorials with these lapses and skips to have a price drop and those in real time at a higher price.

        thank you for listening

  • Nice course

Good course, but that time-lapses don’t make you understand all that she is doing. I think if the video was 24 hours long it would have been much better because it is not a very cheap course. I’m a bit disappointed, I thought I will learn more stuff. Thank you anyway for the hard work you did for this course.

  • Good course

really good course, picked up some things I didnt know. If you decide to do another video PLEASE loose the time laps parts, people who want to learn new skills dont learn from Timelaps

    Thank you for your feedback.

    • Thank you for the feedback! We’re glad you liked the course and will definitely take note on the timelapsed parts and see if we can make these real-time in future tutorials 🙂

      • I am going to have to agree here. Timelapses don’t give you an appreciation of the amount of time it takes to get the job done on a professional level. Yes I know it is more editing and content time that has to be produced. But I will pay for it. For example any tutorials by Niko like “Orc Cyborg Character Creation in Zbrush” is pure gold. I have bought all of his and it is worth every penny.

  • Great course with some weak points

The content is very professional. The video has some bugs.
Although I use Blender, I bought this tutorial. I think the technology is always the same.
The video is well implemented and makes learning fun. Her voice is pleasant and one likes to listen to her.
The sound is not very clean in the first videos and you can hear some noise. Which doesn’t bother me.
However, in the breaks in between there is no sound at all and when a picture comes in, I hold my breath and think the computer has crashed!
In the third video, only the left speaker box works. Sometimes the volume varies a lot. Everything fits again until the end.
With a total of seven videos there is a lot of content!

Nevertheless, I give five stars that the content convinced me. And yes, it is also helpful for Blender users.
