Fraxinus griffithii, the Himalayan ash or evergreen ash is a species of flowering tree. This fast growing, drought tolerant, attractive tree has leaves that are green and shiny on the top and hairy silver colored underneath. They are oval shaped with pointy tips. The flowers appear in panicles, are white and borne in Spring. It can be used as a feature tree or in parks and gardens. Can also be used in street plantings. Great for avenue planting.
