Versailles Cathedral

This product includes the full Unreal Engine 4 project used for the Versailles Cathedral level!

I first started this project when I was a student, my focus was to learn how to build a complex building using modular assets. Recently, I decided to remake the lighting on a newer unreal version and share it online.

This level can be use as a learning exercice on how to breakdown a building. You can also redo the lighting, upgrade the textures, or even use the Cathedral in a completly new level for a personnal project or a commercial one. Be sure to checkout the different type of licence before doing so!

A new version of this product will be available soon using Unreal Engine 5!

Technical Details

  • Main Level with Fully Baked lighting
  • Breakdown Level with all the Assets

  • 93 Static Meshes and 21 Decals
  • 140 Textures with Tilings, Trim Sheets and Specifics
  • 13 Master Materials and 45 Materials Instance
  • Most of the textures used are 2k Tiling Textures
  • No LODs
  • Collisions are automatically generated
  • Supported Platform : Windows


This was a student project I did several years ago. Since then I didn’t rework any 3D assets or textures but only the overall lighting and mood of the Level.
