Houdini Tutorial Procedural Lamp

In this tutorial, you will learn how to create a procedural lamp generator in Houdini.

You will use groups, polyextrude, polybevel, and other nodes to model the lamp base, the lamp shade, and the lamp supports. You will also learn how to assign different colors and UVs to each part of the lamp, and how to deform the lamp shape using a lattice.

Finally, you will export the lamp model to Substance Painter, where you will texture it and bake an ID map.

By the end of this tutorial, you will have a fully procedural and customizable lamp generator that you can use for your own projects.
