All brushes are ready to rock! Shape dynamic and brush tip shape settings have been finely tuned by me to get that juicy 'Marco' look! (made in Photoshop Creative Cloud, and should work in CS6)

Why did I create these?

I have long been a fan of the the living legend, Marcos Mateu-Mestre. If you don't know his work, please look him up and prepare to fall on your face ;)

In my utter adoration and mad envy of his work, I tried to hunt down a set of his brushes (for years) to no avail. And I'm glad I didn't find them, because it forced me to make my own and ask the right questions while studying his work. Mainly, 'what are the brush settings he's using to get those looks????'

These brushes are my humble attempt to emulate his style of work in my own drawings.

Ultimately at the end of the day, it really is lot's and LOT'S of drawing practice that will get your drawings to have the confident strokes that you see in Marcos' work. But I hope these brushes will give you a little insight and creative boost that can help create that awesome inky-thick-thin-dynamism you want in your drawings.
