JM3D - Elmslie Falchion and Messer Builder

This is a set of 163 Sword Part Kitbash pieces, also included as IMM brushes for ZBrush 2022.0.5. Parts have been separated into Blades, Guards, and Grips.

These pieces are modelled after the falchion and messer typology created by James Elmslie for single-edged european blades from the medieval period. These pieces will allow you to quickly create base models to embellish upon. This is by no means a complete catalogue of every sword part ever made, but provides a jumping off point for your sharp and pointy needs! These parts can also be combined with my previous Oakshott Sword Builder to create all sorts of new combinations, including UVs that work for both packs.

The meshes have also been included in FBX files, in case you’re working from an older version of ZBrush, or wish to use the models in another software. Blender files are also included in case that's your jam! Parts can be easily combined to use one texture using the template provided, or repacked according to your needs.
