A surface area patch of grass, I always struggle with grass simulations due to how much it takes from the GPU, so I made this as a base grass mesh that can cover a large area without slowing down the scene and being too taxing on resources.

Just drop it into your scene and sculpt to however suits, small grass simulatons can even be added for more effect if desired and baked onto a low poly if needed.
