The scapular muscles, primarily including the trapezius, rhomboids, levator scapulae, and serratus anterior, support shoulder movement and stability. The trapezius elevates and rotates the scapula, while the rhomboids retract it. The levator scapulae lifts the scapula, and the serratus anterior stabilizes it against the thoracic wall, aiding arm movements.
