Select Edges by Angle & Crease
This is a tool for Maya with different ways of selecting and creasing edges.
- Select specific angle edges, hard edges, creased angles.
- Crease or Uncrease selected angles and change the smooth value for smooth preview
1) Copy this file (QuadCapCylinders.py) somewhere in MAYA_SCRIPT_PATH
# (e.g. C:/Users/userName/Documents/maya/2019/prefs/scripts)
2)Create a new MEL tab and write this:
python("import SelEdges");
python("SelEdges.createWindowSelEdge()");
3) middle mouse drag the script to create a button on the shelf.
You can bind the script to a hotkey or create a marking menu too
