Tutorial - Narrative Environment Concept Art - Temple of the Fire Valley

This process tutorial covers the whole workflow that was used to create this image, from thumbnailing to how I go about gathering references, to my method of sketching, how I use 3D, to finally painting the final result and every step in-between.

It is not really a how-to tutorial, but I'll explain the thinking process behind the different steps and how I usually approach an image like that and the tips and tricks that I use in my everyday work.

I've tried to make it not too long and concise so the videos are all sped up. It is divided in 7 chapters, for a total of more than 2,5 hours of fully narrated videos:
